Janet Birenbaum joined Dana-Farber in late August, 2024. Her primary responsibilities include general accounting functions involving preparation, analysis, reconciliation, interpretation, and maintenance of financial information in the BODFI database. Prior to joining Dana-Farber, Birbaum worked for GBH as a Senior Grants Accountant, and eighteen years for Wheaton College as a Senior Accountant, providing fiscal management of the college’s endowment, restricted gifts, pledges, and grants. Birbaum earned her BS degree from Northeastern University with a major in Accounting and a minor in Computer Science.
